Description

Technical analysis is a tradable financial instrument discipline for forecasting the future direction of market prices through the study of market data: price action, open interest and volume, identifying patterns and trends in financial markets and attempt to exploit them during trading operations.

The AiMS Certificate in Technical Analysis™ will provide you with a comprehensive grounding in technical analysis theory, methods and tools. The course will expose the student to a diverse range of analytical challenges and a practical use of the tools when operating within the financial markets improving experience, performance and understanding.

The emphasis is on your own personal development and everything studied is related to technical analysis and applying your knowledge to trading operations.

Planning your studies

There are no formal requirements to study the AiMS Certificate in Technical Analysis™, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of English, Mathematics and basic IT skills. You would be expected to have use of a laptop computer that can be brought to our classrooms.

Completion

On completion of the required course you will be awarded an AiMS Certificate in Technical Analysis™ of attendance or a graded certificate (examination required).

 

Grading

Certificate grading is based on a 2-hour multiple-choice exam held at our training facility. Examination is optional.
